ROLE:
Be the point of contact for players, parents, coaches and club officials to take incidents that need reporting
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Keep a detailed log book of dates, times, locations and specifics of conversations that he/she has held with members of the club.
- Be clear and fair, working through the WFNC Complaints Resolution Process.
- The Welfare Officer must understand mandatory reporting.
NEXT STEPS:
If the problem relates to an issue outside the scope of their qualifications – the WNFC Club Welfare Officer must
- Inform the WFNC committee of the issue
- Detail all findings that have been entered into the log book to the committee aS deemed appropriate.
- The WFNC Committee determines if the issue is a Moral Obligation or a Legal Obligation and progresses forward.
- MORAL – The WFNC Committee then has the opportunity to obtain assistance from the CMFNL to be a mutual mediation process
- LEGAL – The WFNC will report the issue to the relevant Authority.
