Recent History

Junior Girls Football

Junior girls football has only begun very recently, it entails a much smaller competition. This program is designed to give the girls a taste of what football is about and to help them to be prepared for football if they decide they want to. This competition is local and entails teams from the same league and some from smaller leagues in the area as well.

Youth Girls Football

In 2015 we had our inaugural season in the Bendigo football leagues youth girls football. We are the only club in the central murray football netball league that has the opportunity for youth girls to play football. We won our first premiership in our second year in the competition. This program is to help develop our girls into senior football players and to have the same opportunity as others.

Women’s Football

We began our journey into women’s football in 2023, 6 weeks before the season we had a lot of women interested in playing football, so we made the decision to join the Bendigo football league with a womens side. This gives a pathway for those girls who play in the youth girls team to continue playing football once they are no longer a junior. We had a very successful year with our women’s team making the grand final in our inaugural year.
